The President of St. Augustine High School says they will no longer march or participate with the Krewe of Nyx.
Dr. Kenneth St. Charles confirmed yesterday that he informed Nyx Captain Julie Lea that the school marching band would not accept an invitation to perform at future events.
St. Augustine officials say the decision to end their association with the Krewe of Nyx comes after Lea's controversial social media posts related to the Black Lives Matter movement.
