State health officials reported an additional 1,110 COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the running total since the pandemic began to 120,846 after the daily removal of newly identified duplicated and out of state cases.
The newest cases were collected between between July 27 and August 3. 86% are blamed on community spread and 27% involved those aged 29 and younger.
Patients hospitalized with the coronavirus stood at 1,496 with 230 on ventilators.
17 additional deaths brought that count to 3,910.
