Jefferson Parish teachers will be back in the classroom despite efforts to fight the coming reopening.
Jefferson Parish Schools say it has weighed the input from workers and the community, but regardless, they still have the same plan to be open amid the pandemic.
Teachers are calling on their districts to use money from the CARES Act to create more safety measures by pushing back the start of school.
Even though the parish released a statement saying safety is the top concern, schools are still reopening on August 12.
