Motorists are being advised of a nightly road closure on Veterans Memorial Boulevard at Severn Avenue that began last night.
Officials say two westbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. every night so crews can connect new five-foot-wide culverts.
The project is part of a more than $11 million drainage improvement measure that will add a protected bike lane on Severn, landscaping, and brick sidewalks.
Construction will pause from mid-November to mid-February and then start up again with an expected completion date of September 2021.
