LSU is looking into the recent rape allegations against Derrius Guice.

Interim president Tom Galligan said he is aware of the accusations made against the former Tiger football player, and the school is conducting a full investigation.

The news comes after USA Today reported that two former LSU students claim they were raped by Guice when he was a freshman at the university in 2016.

Meanwhile, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is responding to a quote attributed to him by an anonymous former player about Guice, posting yesterday evening on his Twitter saying the quote is not accurate, and any sexual assault allegations made against Guice should be taken seriously.

The former player said when he told Orgeron his girlfriend had relations with Guice, the coach was dismissive of it as a normal thing.

Orgeron's statement admitted the conversation took place but not in the way described by the player and added he was not told that the girlfriend was one of the women accusing Guice of rape until recently.

Guice was also recently released from the Washington Football Team after being arrested on several domestic violence counts.
