The New Orleans Pelicans are now the owners of the 13th overall pick in the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft.
During the NBA's Draft Lottery last night, the Pelicans' envelope was opened in 13th place immediately after the Boston Celtics were unveiled at number 14.
Entering the lottery, New Orleans had only a 1% chance of getting the #1 pick and a 5% chance of landing one of the top four spots.
The NBA Draft will be held on October 16th over video conference.
