The organizers of the annual Krewe of Boo say they are canceling this year's parade and festivities because of COVID-19.
Krewe of Boo made the announcement Monday, which means the events planned for the weekend of October 24 will not happen this year.
The krewe said they tried to wait as long as possible before deciding to cancel but ultimately found it was impossible to safely hold the parade, Zombie Run, and Monster Mash.
