Louisiana is giving families another opportunity to receive financial benefits from the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer program.
The program allows free and reduced-price school meals for those struggling.
Families who did not apply during May and June can do so for the next three weeks. The portal opened Monday morning and will go until September 29 at 5 p.m.
The online application can be found on the Louisiana Department of Education website.
