Governor John Bel Edwards is going to announce his decision on Phase 3 this week.
During a press conference Tuesday, Governor Edwards said that he will make his decision on whether to keep the state in Phase 2 or move to the next phase of reopening.
Edwards said his decision could come as early as Wednesday but warned that he was waiting on recommendations from the White House's Coronavirus Task Force.
He also said he had to meet with the Louisiana Department of Health about the data from the White House.
