A study by a consumer reports website says two Louisiana cities are in the bottom half of the 100 best cities in the country for drivers.
Data released by WalletHub this month says Baton Rouge is ranked as the 54th best U.S. city studied in terms of driver-friendliness while New Orleans is ranked at number 80.
Wallethub examined 31 indicators in their report, including traffic congestion, access to auto-repair, cost of ownership and maintenance, safety, and fuel prices.
Wallethub's study said fear of COVID-19 has led to less use of public transportation, and Americans are turning to personal vehicles and averaging 310 hours on the road yearly.
