The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 730 COVID-19 cases Tuesday.
The total number of coronavirus cases since the pandemic first struck the state stood at 162,214 following the daily removal of newly discovered duplicates and out of state cases.
The death toll increased by 11 to 5,218.
Hospitalizations fell by 16 ro 571 while the number of patients on ventilators increased by three to 96.
