A day after technical issues delayed COVID-19 reporting in Louisiana, state health officials were on time with Tuesday's numbers.
The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 653 coronavirus cases, bringing the state's running tally to 172,801.
The death toll increased by 10 to 5,486.
Hospitalizations fell slightly by four to 573 while the number of patients on ventilators decreased by two to 68.
