The New Orleans Pelicans could be targeting Stan Van Gundy to be their next head coach.
According to ESPN, Van Gundy is emerging as one of four finalists for their head coaching job.
Van Gundy has been a head coach for over a decade in the league with stops in Miami, Orlando and Detroit.
New Orleans is looking to take the next step in the Western Conference featuring a roster that boasts young talent such as Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram.
The Pelicans' job became available after they parted ways with Alvin Gentry.
Los Angeles Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue is also scheduled for a meeting this week with New Orleans.
