The number of COVID-19 patients rose by 33 to 586, the Louisiana Department of Health said Tuesday.
The latest coronavirus update from LDH saw 62 patients on ventilators, down two from Monday.
State health officials reported 685 new COVID-19 cases on 18,993 tests. The total number of coronavirus cases since the pandemic began in Louisiana stood at 176,681.
The death toll rose by six to 5,572.
