New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees set the NFL record for most completions in a career as the Saints squeaked out a 27-24 win over Carolina.

Brees completed pass number 7,000 to rookie Marquez Callaway at the end of the first quarter to become the first quarterback in NFL history to achieve the milestone.

Brees lost another record on Sunday as Tom Brady leapt over him on the all-time touchdown pass list, which he now leads 559-558.

Brees will next look to get his touchdown pass record back this coming weekend when the Saints head to Chicago to play the Bears.
