Bail for a Catholic priest accused of molesting an underage boy in Slidell is set at $150,000.
Patrick Wattigny said he is going to get a defense attorney after a hearing in front of a St. Tammany Parish bail commissioner.
If convicted of molesting of a juvenile, Wattigny could face a minimum of five years and a maximum of 20 years in prison for each count he receives.
The Sheriff's Office suspects Wattigny molested the teen on at least four different occasions, when the boy was 15-years-old in December of 2013 to the end of 2017.
