Hundreds Of Thousands Waking Up Without Power After Zeta Hits Louisiana

A look at the Entergy outage map from Thursday morning after Hurricane Zeta made landfall Wednesday.

Following Zeta's impact after making landfall, some customers are slowly starting to get their power back.

Entergy is now reporting that nearly 400,000 customers were without power as of Thursday morning, with the largest number of outages coming from Orleans and Jefferson parishes. Cleco reported about 70,000 remained without power in St. Tammany and Washington parishes.

Both Entergy and Cleco report crews are working to restore power, but the former says it could take three to five days for everyone to get the lights back on.
