New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is furious after a large group of people held a Christian music concert in the French Quarter on Saturday.
In a press conference, Cantrell said the concert was not permitted by the city of New Orleans
The crowd had about 400 people who were disregarding COVID-19 safety restrictions.
A spokesperson for Cantrell said the city is reviewing footage of the gathering and is considering potential fines or penalties against the organizers and participants for violating the rules.
The concert featured performances by Grammy-winning Lafayette native Lauren Diagle.
