The LSU Tigers are preparing to be without starting quarterback Myles Brennan for the rest of the 2020 season.

Head coach Ed Orgeron updated Brennan's status during a call with reporters on Wednesday and said it was unlikely the junior would be back this year.

Brennan took over for Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow this season and had passed for eleven touchdowns in three games before injuring his abdomen and hip in a game against Missouri.

Orgeron said the Tigers would stick with T.J. Finley, a true freshman from Ponchatoula High School at quarterback.
