Mayor LaToya Cantrell says the city is seeing a concerning increase in coronavirus cases.
Over the weekend, Mayor Cantrell posted on social media saying that the case increases are more than a spike related to universities and Halloween clusters.
She then urged residents to continue wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands and to avoid crowds.
The concerns come as the city went into Phase 3.3 last week, which allowed bars to have customers inside.
City Health Department Director Dr. Jennifer Avegno says if hospitalizations, percent positivity and cases continue to rise, they will once again impose restrictions.
