LSU Defends Decision To Redact Names In Derrius Guice Case

LSU is defending its decision to keep secret the names of some football players who have been accused of sexual misconduct.

On Monday, the university argued that they chose to redact some of the names involved because Samantha Brennan chose not to press charges.

Additionally, the school says there was no police investigation that could produce evidence that Derrius Guice did as Brennan accuses.

Guice and other members of the LSU football team came under investigation after Brennan accused them of taking a nude picture of her without her permission.

Judge Janice Clark will decide Monday whether the school has to turn over the report with Guice's name published within it or not.
