A new national crime survey says New Orleans is considered the second-worst city in the nation for porch pirates.
A new report from safety research firm SafeWise released over the weekend listed New Orleans second for the most instances of package theft from residences in the United States.
SafeWise said it used data from the FBI compared with zip codes with the highest searches for stolen packages to compile its list.
San Francisco was ranked number one on the list, followed by New Orleans, Austin, Salt Lake City, and San Antonio to round out the top five.
