Drake Davis Abuse Case: SEC, LSU Pres. Warned Two Years Ago About Inaction

Louisiana State University, the SEC and the NCAA are being accused of failing to take action in an abuse case involving Drake Davis.

In October of 2018, letters sent to the NCAA and to the SEC told the organizations that former tennis star Jade Lewis was being abused by her boyfriend.

After alerting the proper school officials, LSU did conduct a Title IX investigation into Davis, but it's unclear on whether there was any punishment given out by the sports organizations.

The university has commissioned Husch Blackwell to look into the past handling of Title IX complaints. They expect to have the results by late February.
