A former LSU athletic director is hospitalized fighting another virus besides COVID-19.
Skip Bertman is currently in the hospital fighting the rhinovirus and says he does not have COVID-19 or pneumonia.
Yesterday, he checked into the emergency room and will remain there for a few days, adding his condition has improved.
The 82-year-old coached the LSU baseball team from 1984 to 2001 and served as the school's athletic director seven years after that.
