COVID-19 Cases, Deaths, Hospitalizations Continue To Rise In Louisiana

The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 1,111 cases of COVID-19 Monday, with 65 additional deaths.

The total number of reported cases and deaths since the pandemic began stood at 287,261 and 7,107 respectively.

Hospitalizations increased by 56 to 1,590 with 174 patients on ventilators, up five overnight.

State health officials report they expect over 79,000 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to arrive in the state this week, along with additional doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
