Louisiana's U.S. Senators Split On Challenging Electoral College Results

Louisiana's U.S. Senators are preparing to split on the Electoral College results tomorrow when Congress meets to certify the election.

Sen. Bill Cassidy has joined a group of bipartisan senators who say they will not object to electors for President because it is not the role of Congress to go against the will of the American people.

John Kennedy, the senior senator from Louisiana, plans to partner with several other Republican Senate and House members to object and call for a commission to review the results despite seemingly no evidence of widespread vote fraud.

Experts say the objections will simply delay the certification of Joe Biden as the 46th President but not prevent it.
