The Louisiana Department of Health reported an additional 2,536 coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total since the pandemic began to 374,582.
The number of presumed recovered from COVID-19 statewide increased by 21,411 to 320,025.
The death toll rose by 59 to 8.383.
Hospitalizations fell by 47 to 1,858 while the number of patients on ventilators was down six to 243.
