The New Orleans Public School System is bringing kids back to the classroom next month.
Students in Pre-K through 8th Grade will be allowed to return to school starting February 1. High School students will be able to return to the classroom in a phased approach after Mardi Gras break.
New Orleans is now under a 5% COVID-19 positivity rate, prompting a move into a modified Phase 2 of reopening starting this Friday.
