The Louisiana Department of Health reported Tuesday that 637,361 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered so far, an increase of 102,376 from last week.
189,239 out of 448,122 vaccine series are now complete. A vaccine series is considered complete when the recipient has received two shots of the vaccine.
State health officials also reported 1,321 additional COVID-19 cases statewide. The total since the pandemic began stood at 414,354.
The death toll rose by 20 to 9,162.
Hospitalizations fell by 22 to 1,122 while ventilator use ticked up by two to 151.
