The Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,156 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the running total of cases since the pandemic began to 418,585.
The death count from the coronavirus rose by 37 to 9,276.
The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations decreased by 51 to 1,001. The count of patients of ventilators remained unchanged at 151.
As of February 8, there are 380,673 presumed recovered from the coronavirus in Louisiana.
