The Louisiana Department of Health reported 468 new COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths Monday.
The total number of cases stood at 424,644 while the death toll sat at 9,477.
The number of hospitalizations continued to trend downward, lower by 16 to 740. 113 patients needed a ventilator in their coronavirus fight, down seven overnight.
LDH added that 294,232 vaccine series were now complete out of 563,731 initiated. 857,963 doses have been administered so far, an increase of 45,001 from last week.
The state expanded access to the vaccine to teachers, pregnant people and others on Monday.
