The Louisiana Department of Health reported just over 1,900 new cases of COVID-19 across Louisiana over the weekend.
The combined data for Saturday and Sunday showed 1,909 new cases of the virus with 26 deaths.
Officials said Hospitalizations dropped by 50 patients since Friday, and there are now 756 people being treated in Louisiana hospitals, with ventilator use down by eight to 120.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Louisiana since March is now more than 424,000 with around 380,000 recoveries and just over 9,400 deaths.
