Louisiana Health Officials say the state could see a shipment of the new single-dose COVID-19 from Johnson & Johnson next week.
Dr. Joseph Kanter spoke yesterday about the state's efforts to get more vaccines saying Louisiana expects to have almost 97,000 new doses from Pfizer and Moderna next week and could have another 37,000 from Johnson & Johnson.
The new vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson only requires one shot and is expected to receive emergency approval from the FDA soon.
