Governor John Bel Edwards is set to hold a press conference at 1 p.m. this afternoon about the state's continued efforts to re-open the economy.
Edwards is expected to announce whether the state will remain in a modified version of Phase 2. The governor's current order keeping Louisiana in Phase 2 expires tonight.
Officials are also expected to discuss the state's continued vaccination efforts, including the arrival of 35,000 doses of Johnson and Johnson's new vaccine this week.
