The Louisiana Department of Health reported Thursday 1,272,139 total doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered, an increase of 51,576 from Monday. Also, 470,147 out of 819,170 vaccine series are now complete.
LDH noted that due to a data processing delay, vaccine data was current as of March 10.
State health officials also reported 441 additional coronavirus cases, which brought the total number to 435,935.
The death toll increased by 16 to 9,828.
Hospitalizations decreased by 16 to 514. Of those patients, 64 were on ventilators, five fewer than Wednesday.
