The Louisiana Department of Health said Thursday that providers across the state have so far administered 1,516,763 doses of various COVID-19 vaccine, an increase of 97,958 doses from Monday.
LDH added that 568,968 out of 987,523 vaccine series are now complete.
State health officials also reported 558 additional COVID-19 cases on Thursday. The total number of reported cases stood at 439,543.
The death toll rose by 19 to 9,974.
Hospitalizations dropped by 32 to 414 with the number of patients on ventilators up by one to 67.
