April Runoff Set In Louisiana's 2nd Congressional District Race

State Senators Troy Carter and Karen Carter Peterson are headed to a runoff for Louisiana's second Congressional district seat.

Carter and Carter Peterson were among a field of 15 candidates running to replace former Congressman Cedric Richmond.

Richmond stepped down from his position earlier this year to become a senior adviser to President Biden.

The runoff election is set for April 24.
