The city of New Orleans is beginning a countdown to when it will host the NCAA Final Four championship tournament next March.
At a panel discussion yesterday regarding the Final Four's return, Governor Edwards and Mayor Cantrell spoke about how the city will be ready to host what could be the largest sporting event to return to New Orleans since the start of the pandemic.
Previous Final Four tournaments have attracted over 75,000 visitors to the city.
The last time New Orleans hosted the Final Four was in 2012 when Kentucky defeated Kansas.
