Authorities in Biloxi, MS say a baby boy caught in the middle of a police shootout with a murder suspect has died.
Police chased suspected killer Eric Smith from Baker, LA to Biloxi yesterday and ended up in a deadly shootout on I-10.
The baby, identified as La'Mello Parker was the suspect's son who he took after allegedly killing the baby's mother and her nephew earlier in the day.
Smith was killed in the exchange of gunfire with police, while the baby died today at a hospital.
