The Audubon Zoo and Aquarium of the Americas are canceling a pro-police promotion.
The Audubon Nature Institute announced Tuesday the 'Blue at the Zoo' six-day event was cancelled after they received feedback that the event "could be unintentionally divisive."
The promotion, which was scheduled from May 11-16, was meant to promote and create positive experience with the police department.
The cancelation comes less than a year after the killing of George Floyd by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
