Officials say New Orleans city leaders are set to choose between three finalists bidding to redevelop the old Six Flags site.
Sources say the choice on who will transform the 200-acre site that has sat unused since Hurricane Katrina will be made on Tuesday.
One plan from Bayou Phoenix would create a family-oriented entertainment venue with a sports complex and water park, while a similar plan from the Situs Development Collective would include an RV park.
Finally, the proposal from Kiernan-West SHIELD, with backing from former Saints QB Drew Brees, would see multifaceted learning centers, including farms, to teach kids about urban agriculture.
