WNBA star Seimone Augustus is retiring.
On Thursday, the former LSU Tiger announced that she is stepping away from professional basketball following her 15-year career and will join the Los Angeles Sparks as an assistant.
The Baton Rouge native was the #1 overall pick by the Minnesota Lynx in 2006 and helped them to four titles.
In her career, Augustus averaged 15 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
