Four Louisiana teams have made it into the 2021 NCAA Baseball Tournament, with one hosting a regional.
That honor goes to Louisiana Tech, with the Bulldogs nabbing the #16 national seed. The Ruston regional will also feature Rider, NC State and Alabama.
LSU is heading out west to Eugene, Oregon in what will be Paul Mainieri's final postseason appearance following the coach's announcement Friday he would retire at season's end. The Tigers' group includes host Oregon along with Central Connecticut and Gonzaga.
Southern is also on the road for their regional in Austin where host Texas, along with Arizona State and Fairfield, await.
McNeese State will also pack their bags for Texas, heading to Fort Worth, whose regional also includes host TCU, Oregon State and Dallas Baptist University.
