LSU is preparing to welcome back native son Brad Davis as the football team's new offensive line coach.
Sources said Thursday that Davis, who was raised in Baton Rouge, is expected to leave his current position as OL coach at Arkansas to replace James Cregg.
Davis has previously coached at Missouri, Florida, East Carolina, and North Texas.
In one season at Arkansas, Davis helped improve the Razorbacks' offensive from 13th to eighth in the SEC.
