The U.S. Coast Guard says the structural integrity of the capsized SEACOR Power lift vessel is likely compromised.

Officials gave an update yesterday on the ongoing salvage operation of the vessel that ran aground last April, killing six crew members with seven still missing.

The Coast Guard says the vessel has rotated with salvage crews reporting cracking and separation of the hull from the superstructure.

The vessel will now have to be raised and brought to shore in separate sections instead of one piece.
