Kenner Police say they are looking for a man who shot a Good Samaritan who was trying to protect a woman during a fight at a gas station.

Officials said Wednesday that 45-year-old Ray Hollins of Metairie is wanted on charges of attempted second-degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm.

Police say Hollins was physically attacking a woman in front of a gas station on Reverend Richard Wilson Drive and shot the victim after they tried to stop the fight.

The victim was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg and torso.
