LSU's executive vice president and provost is stepping down.
University President Dr. William Tate announced Thursday that Dr. Stacia Haynie is resigning from her administrative position to return to the university's college of humanities and social sciences.
It's unclear why Dr. Haynie is stepping down from her role after being appointed the position back in 2018.
Matt Lee has been tapped to serve as interim provost as the university searches for a replacement.
