A Louisiana teen is being offered college scholarships after winning the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
LSU is offering 14-year-old Zalia Avant-garde of Harvey a full scholarship to its Honors College.
Southern University and the Louisiana Community and Technical College System are also offering her scholarships.
The reigning spelling bee champion says she hopes to play in the WNBA or work for NASA.
