Power Outage Near Superdome On Tuesday Blamed On Bird

Entergy says a bird is to blame for a power outage yesterday in an area of the city near the Superdome.

The utility company said yesterday that a bird got into a substation near the stadium and was able to cause a significant amount of damage.

Several hundred customers were affected near the Superdome and Tulane, with most restored to power by late Tuesday evening.
