Six Arrested In Scheme To Steal Millions In State Unemployment Benefits

State authorities say they have arrested six people in connection to a scheme to steal more than $1 million in unemployment funds.

Officials confirmed yesterday that Dynasty Rowe of Maringouin, Kendell Fowler of Baton Rouge, Miquel Banks and Darrolyn Bell of Plaquemines, Lasia Brock of Thibodaux, and Ashley Johnson of Prairieville are accused of targeting unemployment offices in Louisiana and California.

Two more suspects, identified as Adrienne Johnson of Prairieville and Joseph Mitchell of Baton Rouge, remain at large.
